Erin White

President

Erin is a Junior from Kingsport, Tennessee studying Biology STEM education. She is thinking about attending Grad school after graduation for Microbiology/immunology. She spends her free time at the creative discovery museum as an Early Childhood intern or at the Kappa Delta house hanging out with her sisters! She loves Kappa Delta and can't wait to serve as President! Position Details: I am the primary contact for Kappa Delta. I work with the chapter’s council and advisory board to ensure that our chapter is the best it can be. I facilitate council and chapter meetings so they run smoothly and I am the liaison between the chapter and National Leadership Team and University Advisors.

Destinee Dixson

VP Member Education

She dreams to become a Physical Therapist and have a "white-picket fence" kinda family. She loves her small town, but glad to call Chattanooga her second home. Her current obsession is with Mtn. Dew and One Tree Hill. Position Details: I educate our new members on everything about Kappa Delta from its history, philanthropies, symbols, etc. In addition, I plan workshops we host throughout the year for the whole chapter. The most fun part of my job is planning Bid Day and Big/Little Reveal.

Haley Shields

VP Membership

Haley is a senior majoring in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Middle Grades Education. She has lived in Chattanooga her entire life and plans to live here after graduation! When she isn't shopping, with her friends, or baking, you can find her on Pinterest planning her future classroom! Position Details: As VP Membership, I prepare the chapter to welcome potential new member in our home and careful planning of all the details for each day of recruitment. I also engage the chapter in various sisterhood events throughout the semester, which have included in the past ice skating, bowling, and much much more!

Alyssa Lopez

VP Operations

I plan and direct the Chapter Excellence program and make sure that all of the chapter’s activities and programing reflect those goals. I execute annual officer transitions and make sure all officers are elected and trained. I also ensure that all of our sisters are well involved both inside and outside of the chapter. About me: Take me to an amusement park and I will love you forever! Meg Shepard

VP Community Service

I am just a simple girl who aspires to be Kate Middleton on a regular basis. After I graduate from UTC, I hope to move back to my hometown, Memphis, TN and land a job in fundraising and marketing at St. Jude Hospital. If I am not planning for Shamrock Week, you can either find me napping, getting a Coke Zero from Sonic, practicing my calligraphy, cheering on the Grizzlies, or napping. I will be forever grateful to Kappa Delta for all of the opportunities and friends and it has provided me! I am truly blessed to be a KD! Position Details: I have the wonderful honor of planning and executing our Chapter’s Shamrock Week, War of the Wings, Girl Scout events, and service opportunities. Shamrock Week and War of the Wings are our philanthropy events where we do all we can to raise funds for our philanthropies, the Child Advocacy Center of Hamilton County and Prevent Child Abuse America.

Mary McGowan Austin

VP Public Relations

She has lived her entire life in Chattanooga, but would love to live at the beach one day. Outside of Kappa Delta she is involved in Cru ministry on campus. When she isn’t hanging out at the Kappa Delta house with her sister, you can find her in the fine arts building working on an art project, or on an outdoors trip with her family. Position Details: It is my job as VP PR to keep the chapter and the public informed of what all the amazing things Beta Kappa is doing. I regularly update all social medias including our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and our chapter’s website.

Sami Browning

VP Standards

Chattanooga has been my home away from home for the past 3 years and I hope it will be my permanent home after I graduate. One of my life goals is to own a pug. I am also involved with the Cru ministry on campus. Position Details: As Vice President Standard, I make sure that sisters raise themselves to meet the values of our sisterhood. I am the head of the risk management team and also work with sisters to ensure their academic success. Most importantly, I like to think of myself as someone sisters can turn to for advice on school, life, or just someone to listen.

Sophi Falcone

Secretary

Outside of Kappa Delta, she attends The House and is a freshman senator. Singing is one of her many passions, along with playing piano and guitar. Though she isn't very athletic, her favorite intramural sport is flag football with her sisters! After graduation, she plans to become a nutritional psychologist and combat eating disorders and let everyone know how beautiful they are! Position Details: I manage all of the paperwork for Kappa Delta, update the roster, keep track of attendance, and provide the agendas for every meeting to keep the chapter organized.

Morgan Murphy

VP Finance

Outside of Kappa Delta, she is involved in Pre Medical society and is a Teaching Assistant for the university. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She also enjoys crafting and drawing. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school to become a doctor in emergency medicine. Position Details: I am responsible for maintaining and keeping track of all of the chapters financial obligations. I oversee that every member pays their dues on time. I monitor the budget by working closely with council members and AOs to make sure they on track for their individual budgets.

Ashley Starkey

Panhellenic Delegate

Ashley is a psychology major who hopes to one day become a school counselor. She chose to move to Chattanooga for her love of both the outdoors and the city. When she is not studying, she can be found spending her free time with her friends. She is thankful for Kappa Delta for giving her over 100 sisters that she can always count on. Position Details: I serve as a liaison between KD and Panhellenic Council. I maintain the communication between chapters on campus and plan events with organizations on campus. I also oversee our chapter’s homecoming activities and participation in Greek Show.
